After a pre-dawn climb up Mount Amos guided only by a head torch (and after a few wrong turns), the first light of a summer’s sunrise spills over Tasmania’s iconic Wineglass Bay. From the summit, the bay’s perfect crescent begins to glow in the soft morning haze, a serene and hard-earned reward for the night-time ascent.
