A captivating vista along the dramatic serpent-like winding canyon that has been carved out of the icy landscape over millions of years. We visited in the middle of winter and whilst the day light hours were brief (perhaps 4 hours) it was pretty much non-stop golden hour - beautiful soft light painting the cliffs in hues of gold and rose. The canyon itself is about 2 km long and the sheer walls are about 100 metres deep.
